Senior Collections Specialist

General & Administrative - Remote - Full Time

What You Need:
  • 5 years of experience software business to business collections preferred 
  • Bachelor's degree preferred in business or accounting, or equivalent knowledge of finance and accounting
  • 2+ years NetSuite experience required
  • 2+ years Salesforce experience preferred
  • Microsoft Excel and data proficiency required
  • Portal billing experience preferred (Coupa, Ariba, Taulia, etc.)
  • Cash application experience preferred, but not required
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Ability to interact with all levels of the organization

What You’ll Do:
  • Oversee multiple accounts to ensure collection efforts are timely on all assigned past due accounts
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders such as Customer Success Managers, legal, and finance on collections for multiple accounts
  • Compile and evaluate aging reports and determine high risk/delinquent accounts and prioritize work based on analysis
  • Identify and rectify issues attributing to account delinquency
  • Resolve complex and escalated customer billing disputes independently, escalating higher as needed
  • Handle complex customer collections issues independently and escalate to sales, senior management, and service organization as needed
  • Research outstanding invoice balances
  • Reconcile customer accounts
