Accounts Payable Analyst

Job Summary
PDI is seeking an Accounts Payable Clerk to perform accounting and clerical tasks related to the efficient maintenance and processing of accounts payable transactions and fixed assets. This position will report to the AP Manager.
Responsibilities
- Review and verify invoices and check requests
- Sort, code and match invoices for payment
- Process expense reports
- Prepare and process electronic transfers and payments
- Prepare and perform check runs
- Post transactions to journals, ledgers and other records
- Reconcile accounts payable transactions
- Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date
- Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and issues
- Maintain vendor files and prepare analysis of accounts
- Correspond with vendors and respond to inquiries
- Produce monthly reports and assist with month end closing
- Provide supporting documentation for audits
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Intermediate Excel skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Convenience store or retail experience is a plus
- Bachelor's in business, Accounting, or equivalent experience
- This role will offer a starting compensation of $16.00/HR, EOE.
