Purchasing & Inventory Coordinator

The Purchasing and Inventory Coordinator will report to the Division Controller and be responsible for the management of inventory.  The primary focus will be asset control.  Successful candidates will rely on strong practical skills, creative problem solving approaches, excellent technical knowledge, and good communication skills.

This roll will interact heavily with customer service, repair group, and the Professional Service team.


  • Ensuring all necessary items is on-hand to fulfill order deadlines
  • Purchasing inventory for projects, warehouse stock & service stock
  • Set up BOM kits to ensure accurate & efficient inventory processing and work with Hardware lead to ensure BOM kids are built to specification
  • Review inventory movements to ensure accuracy in ERP system
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the project schedules and related forward planning
  • Perform regular cycle counts and ensure minimum discrepancy and/or obsolescence
  • Other functions and responsibilities related to supply chain
  • General administrative duties

Required Skills & Experience

  • Minimum 2 years in similar role
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
  • Ability to think and work independently
  • Analytical skills – ability to foresee potential supply problems and work to minimize them
  • Ability to work to deadlines and good time management skills
  • Ability to work in a small collaborative team with overlapping responsibilities
  • Proficient computer skills with MS Office, advance Excel knowledge

Educational Qualifications/ Pre-Requisites

  • Minimum 2 years in similar role
  • High School Diploma or higher
