M&A Integration Director

Position Description

The Integration Director will be responsible for ownership and leadership of all cross-functional integration workstreams resulting from PDI’s acquisitions.  This position will be responsible for planning, managing, and executing initiatives across Finance, HR, IT, Sales, Hosting, and Development.  This position requires a candidate with outstanding interpersonal skills and strong technical aptitude, who is comfortable communicating with and selling to C-Level executives. Enthusiastic, disciplined, organized, and self-motivated, the ideal candidate is a team player who is comfortable in a fast-paced environment. A successful candidate will enjoy solving complex business problems for which there is often no playbook.  This position reports directly to the Vice President of Corporate Development. 

Job Functions

  • Participate in acquisition due diligence with an eye towards developing the integration plan
  • Assist VP of Corporate Development in integration planning and assist PDI leadership team with related decision making and execution
  • Become a subject matter expert on PDI systems, processes, and products
  • Own, manage, and execute all workstreams in the integration plan across all functions
  • Wear multiple hats and be able to adapt to role’s responsibilities both large and small
  • Assist and direct functional leaders with large initiatives
  • Complete small tasks yourself

Required Skills & Experience

  • Minimum of 3 years of professional experience
  • Operational experience, preferably with medium to large technology companies
  • Successful track record of working integration of several acquisitions
  • Experience and understanding of business processes across multiple functions, including Finance, HR, and IT
  • Experience with implementation of various internal information systems, including CRM, ERP, and HRIS
  • Expert user of Microsoft Office Suite with sound presentation skills across various modalities
  • Acquisition experience from the finance side (e.g. investment banking, private equity) is acceptable if coupled with direct interaction with integration planning and execution or operational experience
  • Time management skills, not only managing multiple projects at a time but more importantly making the most of other integration team leaders’ time who have other “day jobs”

Educational Qualifications/ Pre-Requisites

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or technical area preferred
